*Protection function of dc motor: 

(1) current current interruption protection: it is the main protection of dc motor with
interphase short circuit. 

(2) overload protection: overload protection should be installed for the dc motor that is prone to
overload during operation. 

(3) zero-sequence protection: used for single-phase grounding fault of stator winding of dc motor. 

(4)start timeout protection: timeout protection action after dc motor start failure. 

(5) negative sequence current protection:provide protection for dc motor inverting, phase breaking, inter-turn short circuit, serious voltage asymmetry and other abnormal
conditions.

(6) low voltage protection: when the power supply voltage is too low or interrupted, the low voltage protection action
jumps over the dc motor.
